Sunlight can be collected either from falling sun icons or generated by plants like Sunflowers and Sun-shrooms. Each plant costs a specific amount of sun and has a cooldown timer, forcing you to think strategically about every placement.

Meet the Undead – And Outsmart Them

Zombies come in many quirky forms. Some wear traffic cones, others ride dolphins or dance their way across your yard. You’ll need to match their unique weaknesses with the right plants—like using Cactus to pop Balloon Zombies or Wall-nuts to hold back regular walkers.

Lanes, Lawnmowers, and Last Chances

Each row of the lawn functions as a battle lane. Your last resort in each lane is a single-use lawnmower that wipes out all zombies if they reach the end. But be warned: if a second zombie follows, it’s game over.

Players can also remove plants using a shovel to make room for better defenses or correct a misstep mid-game.
